Votes for Women!

On March 28, 2019 -- almost a month later than first planned thanks to the government shutdown--we opened the Votes for Women: A Portrait of Persistence exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery in Washington D.C. It was an amazing night, with over 600 people wearing suffragist white (the Brits were suffragettes), being entertained by Rosanne Cash and DJ Natasha Diggs, and amazing honorees and speakers including Congresswoman Doris Matsui, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, and former Secretary of State and First Lady, Hillary Clinton.

It was such an honor to meet Speaker of the House, the Honorable Nancy Pelosi

With exhibition curator, historian Kate Clarke Lemay and the Honorable Hillary Clinton
